Jake’s Grub n Grog sits on East River Road in Brewerton, twenty minutes north of Syracuse. It’s easy to find — just off I-81 at exit 31 — and it has the feel of a real neighborhood pub with a lakeside vibe. The banquet room handles parties up to 200 guests, making it a go-to for events as well as everyday dining.

The Food

The kitchen’s headliner is the fresh fried haddock: one enormous filet, served with a side, the kind of portion that makes you feel like you got a deal.
