Happy Black Friday, 315!

We hope everyone had a wonderful Thanksgiving! It’s now officially the holiday season - and we’ve got tons of holiday markets this week where you can find marvelous gifts for loved ones and connect with other business owners. Tomorrow is Small Business Saturday, so this weekend is the perfect time to shop small. Let’s support our local artisans and businesses!

This week, we’ve got some more live music events to check out - plus, if you love musicals, you’re in luck - Wicked is coming to Syracuse, and Buena Vista Social Club is coming to Utica! We’ve also got trivia nights, yoga, ice skating, and even a Sourdough 101 class, if you’re looking for a winter hobby! This weekend, Skaneatales is opening their 32nd Dickens Christmas event, Syracuse is bringing Wine and Chocolate Fest to the fairgrounds, and Ogdensburg will have an interactive Victorian Christmas event. We may be approaching the shortest days of the year, but there are so many awesome things going on in the 315 to beat the winter blues!

Note: Sorry for the late sending, this was due to a technical issue with the newsletter platform.

Georgio’s Village Cafe

Georgio’s Village Cafe

Nestled in the heart of New Hartford’s Village Shops, Georgio’s Village Cafe has been a Mohawk Valley favorite for over 20 years, serving generous portions of comforting, homestyle Italian-American classics in a warm, family-friendly atmosphere. Locals flock here for perfectly fried calamari with zesty marinara, tender chicken parmigiana blanketed in melted mozzarella and house-made sauce, linguini with white or red clam sauce loaded with fresh clams, and their signature gourmet pizzas baked in a brick oven with crisp crusts and creative toppings like the popular Village Special (loaded with sausage, peppers, onions, and mushrooms).

What keeps people coming back is the consistently delicious food, generous portions that often mean leftovers, lightning-fast and genuinely friendly service, and the fact that they go out of their way to accommodate gluten-free diners with dedicated pasta and pizza options. Whether you’re feeding a family, grabbing takeout, or enjoying a relaxed dinner with friends, Georgio’s delivers that nostalgic red-sauce Italian experience we all crave—without ever feeling stuffy or overpriced. It’s the kind of place where everyone knows your name after just a couple visits.
